Coface has appointed Tobias Engelbauer as Chief Commercial Officer for North America.
Princeton, N.J., January 1, 2025 – Coface announced the appointment of Tobias Engelbauer as Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) for its North American Region, effective January 1, 2026.
Tobias brings decades of experience in trade credit insurance, including 10 years with Coface. Most recently, as Head of Mid-Market for Coface Germany, supporting new business growth through targeted commercial initiatives, digital innovation, and team development.
His passion for fostering growth and collaboration among Coface teams and partners will contribute to our enhancements toward best-in-class service for our clients in the United States, Canada and Mexico.

Tobias also held roles in sales and account management for Mid-Market and Coface Global Solutions (CGS) in Northern Europe and holds a master’s degree in media and management.
